Considering adoption for your child is never an easy choice.  Our counselors at AHSA are prepared to listen to you, answer all of your questions, and help you make a plan that you feel is the right one for you and your child.  We understand that making the first call or contact is frightening and difficult, and can assure that you will be met with a supportive and non judgemental response.  You can reach us by phone, text, or e-mail.

When working with AHSA towards an adoption plan for your baby, you will be given the opportunity to choose the family that you feel most comfortable with for your child.  You will have the opportunity to talk with them, meet them, ask questions about the things that are important to you, and plan together for your child.  With the help of your adoption counselor, you and the adoptive family you choose will make a plan for staying in touch after the baby is born if you desire. 

There are never any fees for services offered to birth parents, and you do not have to make a commitment to the adoption until you feel ready to do so.  We are able to simply answer questions and support you while you make your decision if you are unsure if adoption is right for your baby.
